LOL!
I heard when you switch off FM and go to sleep, the scouts come out of FM and play!

This is one of the ironies of the SI Forums. A few weeks ago there was a 6 page thread about the scouts in the game being too good, forcing SI to turn down the accuracy of the scouts in the game.

I used to be a scout, although they never taught me much about watching football players.
I can tie a reef knot though! |

And that is my point Mizan, I don't think my scouts are of very much help to me this way.
I do not mind the are off a star up or down in their predictions. But I don't trust their report if these say that of all of the scouted players are plaing close to their full potential.
If this would be the case than no player will be making any progress any more in the game and I don't think that is the case?
Besides all this I do agree with Bongo-Bongos reply, thanks for that, but are you saying the scouts are like that in the game or are you hoping they are |

I'm not actually sure why players have attributes at all, since a player with all high numbers can have a CA that makes him crappier than if he had 90% of his numbers below 10. The information scouts manage to dig out seems inaccurate at best sometimes and not very helpful and contradicting other times.

| The information is relevant to the player at that point in time in relation to his age and the league he's playing in, as a player develops the reports reflect that.
I trust my scouts enough..at the end of the day, I have to trust that I am doing the right thing by managing the players.

For example, in the first season of my Liverpool game, one of my scouts reported on Walcott, saying that he would be a good signing and gave him a four star rating. At this time, he was only playing the odd game for the Arsenal first team and not really setting the world on fire. The next season, the same scout said he would be a quality signing, and gave him a five star rating. Walcott had managed to break into the first team, and was playing quite well, so it would at least appear that Walcott had improved as a player, and had a better chance of making it.
