His match ratings are still pretty good though, and his tackling stat is really high. He also has a fair bit of pace, so it's not like he's tugging shirts because he can't keep pace. Maybe you should ease your tackling setting.

Or of course it is in fashion now to blame it all on a bug and moan about a patch

He's got an extremely high aggression rating, which is not good for starters.

Check his preferred moves and see if "diving into tackles" is one of them. If it is, combined with the high aggression rating is where your problem lies.

Set him on easy tackling for starters, and if that doesn't work (and you haven't done this already) give him a warning for his next red card If he accepts that and gets another red quickly afterwards (save his response to the warning as a note so you can track the dates), then fine him a weeks wages. If he gets another fine him again. If he gets a third fine him two weeks wages.

Evetnually he'll get the message. If not then get rid of him. As good as his stats may be he's useless to you if he's constantly on suspension. You'd be better off getting someone else in.
