just on the 2011/12 season (FM08) and Reading have gone into admin and lost 10 points (english championship). never realised this was a part of the game (never happened before to me)!

Man Utd went into administration in my second season. I bought cronaldo and rooney off them for 9m pounds apiece. I could have gotten tevez for 9m as well, but I decided not to break man utd.

'Boro just got hit with a 9 point deduction (Engish Prem) later in the same season!

It's pretty mental how quickly the vultures swoop when it happens. Reading lost about a third of their first team for next to nothing at the next transfer window (VERY reduced fees) and about a week after 'Boro lost 9 points three of their biggest stars were being courted by other clubs.

Great addition, makes good money management actually a really important skill (he says, as he starts to edge his wage bill slowly towards the black...)
