For me, the biggest flaw with FM 08, is the crazy scorelines. Too many goals are being scored in games in FM 08. I have Champions League quarter and semi finals games ending often with 4-3 and 5-2 scorelines (thats just an example, overall scoring averages in all of the competitions are totally unrealistic for me). Overall, the game is great and I play it every time I got some spare time (although I didnt get a lot of this in the last week, with the preperations for the Russia match).

No one feels that scoring averages per game is totally crazy?

I guess it's a known bug(at least I remember many people complaining about this issue), and will be fixed with the full patch..
