but you've probably noticed the positive feedback off the first post, keeping people in the loop as to whats going on with patch related news, it keeps the rabid patch posts at bay.
any info is better than no info..

Cheers for the update Miles, hopefully this will keep some of the drama queens quiet for a while.
There were some problems that did stop the game being playable for a small number of people and it's nice to see the effort you guys have put in to get this sorted as quickly as possible.
But I'm astounded at some of the things people have complained about on here over the last few weeks and the way some people have thrown their toys out of the pram. Guarenteed, 95% of the people playing the game who haven't visited these forums will not have noticed a single issue. That's the way it was for me before I joined up to these forums back in 2005.
Before then I happily played all the games out of the box without noticing a single problem. That doesn't mean there weren't problems (one of these games was CM4), just that without reading about them I was completely unaware of them.
But aith the forums lately it's been rediculous. Despite them having may positive uses they seem to have degenerated into a moaning frenzy where people read about bugs that they would never have noticed before and started ranting about them with because they feel hard done by.
Luckily there are still some people who post constructively to try and highlight issues/help people with tactics/answer questions etc, otherwise the forums would have become completely pointless.
I've immensly enjoyed my game so far and look forward to enjoying it more once patched, no other game comes close to giving me a years play so keep up the good work.

| It's not out yet, as it says in the opening post.
The latest beta patch can be found in the official beta patch thread.

So will the regen problem be sorted? Loving the game but just have this one slight issue to address.

I hope all the negative people who are on the forums stating SI don't care, then I hope they have read this.
As for the patch, I'm using the lastest Beta and thoroughly enjoying a new game as Huddersfield Town, the issues I noticed were more long term, so I'm hoping the patch will be out by the time I get to 7 seasons in.
But credit to Miles and the team. I can guarentee that come Christmas no one will mention any complaints and everyone will be stuck well into FM08.

I'm not sure if this question goes here but I'll say it anyway. Who actually was in charge with the releasedate, as in happy about the finished product of the game to go to stores? Was in SI or Sega who make those choices? Specifically this current choice not overall on games.
| My guess would be Sega, as they are the publishers, they've probably got more control over the business side of things. </BLOCKQUOTE>
SI actually have to upload the code so there's not much we can do if they don't want to. The decision in this case was made with everyone's blessing, as far as I'm aware. </BLOCKQUOTE>
You rock for answering. Ta mate.
