i've been playing fm08 (like most of you) and have stopped being England, because its just to easy. You could put David James up front and still win games. Now im Northern Irish, but after 20 years of in game time, the best i'd done is got them to the Euro Semi's . Which is realistic in my views, and really made my day .But baring in mind, recent England sides have qualified so easy for European Championships *cough* russia. Why is it just so easy to win as England?
I won the world cup with them in 2010, but they got knocked out early in the Euros in 2012 (I wasn't managing them). They are really good at the start of the game but now Im in 2013, they are not good at all.

I've never won anything with england. But if you're a good enough manager to take N.Ireland to the semis, then you really should be winning stuff easily with england.
Funnily enough, i always get knocked out by one of my club players.
Imo Spain is pretty easy to win trophies with, i was always pretty much garunteed final/champions each tourney.
Yep, your own club players allwyas stick the boot into you. I lost in the 2010 final due to Fabregas and Villa each netting two. I lost 4-3 with Rooney and Walcott getting my goals between them.
So the future looked bright for AFC with 7 goals in the WC final by AFC players
In my current game I'm doing really well with Arsenal after starting with Sheff Wed but I decided to take the England job for the 2014 world cup qualifications and after 3 out of the 6 games I decided to resign. Steve Bruce took over and has won all 3 of his games 3-0
Im in 2013 and the england job is pretty hard i got boomed by saudi arabia in my first game (friendly) but since then its got better. Its just all englands good players are too old and the regens are all rubbish lol so its pretty tough on my game
