I've just got FM2008 for Christmas - very happy with my wife. Installed the game, but I can't see the player position information. I've noticed on screenshots that the player's position should be at the top of the screen, just below their name, but it doesn't show there on mine. :s

The only way I can see the player's position is to look in the position tab. Does anyone know how I can change this?

Go into preferences and untick the show unique ids under display and sound.

Ah, thank you - I didn't know you couldn't look at unique ID's and player positions at the same time.

Personally I think the player positions at the top are not that useful because you still dont know which positions that player is a "natural" in. He could just be accomplished. They should be colour coded
