I don't want to take you guys for idiots but I'm not sure how famous Steam is outside it's community but anyway Steam has this 'in-game community' feature for both Steam and Non-Steam games but however this seems to not work with Football Manager 08.

Even though Steam acknowledges I am playing the game, it doesn't give me the option to open up the ingame community features.

This is a great feature especially for a game like FM08 where you can check and chat to your friends while playing a game and would greatly improve my FM08 experience while waiting for days to process etc.

I don't have any of those applications and my Non-Steam in game features work with every game but FM 08
So I thought I'll give this forum a shot or maybe devs know a file I should remove or add in order to allow Steam in-game.
