So FM 08 was delivered by Santa last night and it was the last thing i opened this morning. Installed it, and the 8.0.1 patch and a mini update as of 15/12/07 and graphics such as kits, logos and a facepack.

So i got started on a career, put a photo up in my new Man City training gear (how sad am i?) and got on with it.

Started with my beloved Man City and told the board i would qualify for Europe through the league. July passed and i had signed 5 men - Slovakia's no.1 keeper, "The next Ronaldo" Portugese winger Cani, Sergey Ignashevic on a free, a young right winger Gabriel Torje and an Argentinian attacking midfielder.

My first game arrived against Reading at home. Looked like it was going to be tough and i just couldn't put the ball in the net with all the chances in the world. I read on here before i got the game that so many people were bothered about how many shots there were compared to how many goals and i thought they were just being picky. But now i see its sooo annoying! Bojinov and Samaras missed so many chances either wide or at the keeper! I think we ended up with 20 shots and 13 on target. Reading had 8 with 5 on target. I wasnt too upset though cos i won 3-1 with a Bojinov hatrick!! It wont bother me if i win games

I see what people mean by how frustrating it is!! Also if anyone can help.. the match engine is very jolty but then speeds up to normal pace then a bit later it jolts 4 or 5 times again? Any ideas?

No idea with the speed thing but yeah the missed chances thing is SOOOOOO frustrating.

Gave me high blood pressure many times and I stopped playing the game for days due to the frustrated that brought up lol ¬_¬

Van Persie, Adebayor, Eduardo, Walcott, Rosicks, Febrages I even signed Mutu but nope.

They'll miss one on one, they'll miss a cross that beats a keeper and they send the ball wide on an open goal.

This happens at least twice every match and it's really annoying.

I know they miss basic one on ones that my gran could score. The ocasional miss is alright and a couple if you're Anelka but they shouldn't be getting so many chances because IRL if they did each game would be a cricket score!
