Sadly, but true. I am on this game from the Amiga age. I bought the game every year but this year I just too disappointed. Thats why I am back to FM 07 which I enjoy a lot and I am not alone.

Well this is just it. I haven't played half a season, seen I'm 15th with a good side and spat the dummy. I've played nearly 20 seasons on it - ben relegated, avoided relegated, been promoted a few times too. I've achieved success and I've had bad runs too, as I should in a realistic game.

It's just too often I feel like I have absolutely no control on what's going on out there, particularly with player instructions and trusting my players. Which I'm sure is what most managers feel like IRL, but I'm not playing this fulltime and I'm not getting paid to play, so I'd like to feel like I'm in control at least some of the time.

I'm sorry that you've decided that this is the best for you. I have to say that I've found '08 almost infinitely easier than '07, not that ease should be the most important factor of enjoyment, although I guess it is one of them. I have no idea why, styles of play, I guess. Anyway, my, err, sort of point is that it is not the fault of the game-maker if the game proves highly annoying to some people, because it does not to others. Some people would find it highly annoying if they were able to win every game, I'm sure.

oh dear, my first thread read on here for a while and the game's not sounding too good.

I've bought every release for the last 11 years on the day of release apart from this years. However, I got it for xmas and i'm about to start a new game. Is it really as bad as people are making it out to be?

It is unbeliavable how far people's heads are up si's asses. I agree with sirdez24, Im managing AC Milan dominating everything then somehow Dida gets tackled in the 90th minute. Now that is bs.
