Are you sure you have downloaded and extracted it correctly, and that it is in the right place?

Yeah, downloaded the 'player stats' file you kindly uploaded to YouSendIt for me. Then deleted the original 'player stats' xml file and replaced it with this one...

If I directly paste the downloaded file in the folder, it won't prompt me with a message asking to overwrite as one is .xml and the other is .txt.

Mastropiero, care to tell us what you did exactly? Also, what command are you using? -small_screen?

Maybe you are better off just editing it yourself then if that file is not working. (You do have to restart the game btw.)

Yeah, why not?

In the command line I use "-small_screen -windowed", withtout the "" of course, Im sure you already know that.
This is what I did...downloaded the file, unzipped the file (now we have a TXT file), opened it, I copied the entire text from that file (the TXT one)...then I went to the original player_stats.xml file and opened it, I deleted the text and pasted the one from the downloaded file (the TXT one).

So, basically, I didnt delete the original player_stats.xml file, but I replaced the text.
