i hope i dont' break any forum rules 'cos i guess it's a very common question, but i was searching for a long time a guide or essential tips to make a skin by my own.
any site, place or guy where or who i can locate this??

You aren't breaking forum rules but you're right it's a common question. There are a few asking the same thing on this page already so opening a new topic isn't worth it.

Basically, there aren't any guides out there really. There have been some posts linking to partial guides but nothing that great.

I'd have a look in other threads on this topic and see what you can find.

Another good place to look is in the works of other skins. I frequently edit skins and occasionally make my own, and it's always useful to look in the folders of skins. I started off by changing some stuff in the /graphics folder to make an Arsenal skin for FM06, and now I've branched out into genuine editing of the XML files. Start simple, though .
