If it is, how do you go about it? with regards my pictures being "jpgs" and the pictures in the game are "pngs".

What numbers do i need to assign to them for the game to accept them.

find the regen pics folder and just replace your chums pics with the regens ones...

but you will be luky to see the effects as your m8ts pics may be regens at clubs you wont be playing against e.g lower leagues so you may not see them.

Wasn't it also possible to tell the game the names of new regens? (Hence the "your face in the game"-competition.) If SI can make a future regen having your name, your favourite team to be regenerated in, and your face to complete that, and if all that is not hard-coded, then we can make this ourselfs to, I believe.

I have no idea how to make it work like that, but there should be people on these forums that know how to do this. (SI-people like Ter for instance.)

there must be a way to add your self as a regen, im sure in the last version there was a file you could create/edit so that your own name was added into the regens list.

Do you just make a 95 x 95 pixel pic and place it in the regen folder?

Do you need to assign a name to it? if so, what name?

Pretty much, after doing that though you'll need to open up the .xml config file(notepad will do) in the regens folder. The file has a list of all the regens and the number of their picture next to their name. Copy and paste 1 of those lines and change the details to your name and <name of jpeg> to link to the picture.
