I was wondering if you could help, please remember i have no experience editing football manager but i do have quite a bit of data editing experience. I thought it would be best to ask a couple of quick questions here before i tackle something that maybe impossible.
What I'm trying to do is control the random player name facility. For example if there are 10,000 random players create when you start a new game could i name any of them ? or set crteria.
Bascially i want to create a database with 100% unreal players, i then want to add maybe 30% of my own players ie - change the name, postion, stats. Then hopefully i could just load up and play.
The first part "FUTURE_REGEN" is simply the command.
"Dave" is obviously the first name.
"" is the common name(like for instance Ronaldo), if it's none, leave it blank like I have.
"Fairbairn", again it's simple, second name.
"10.01.1983" is date of birth. The game may change this to suit the year. Generally, it sets it so that the person will be 15 years old when he appears.
"England" is the player's nationality.
"Berwick" is the person's favourite team. They aren't 100% certain to end up there, but this will be given as their favoured club.
While they aren't 100% certain to appear, have their correct DoB, or be at the right club, it does tell the game to make these players at some point. Some of them may end up as one of the randomised playersat startup, some of them might appear as a youth player in later seasons.
So is there a similar type of file that creates the random players?
You see if i could edit 20% or the orginal random players when the game starts then that would be fine. Because the rest of the players could be in the regen file and eventually come into the game.
