i have just created a new database in editor and have tried to use it by setting it in preferences and then when i create a new game it uses the original database if anybody could help me i would be very greatful

This has popped up a few times, I think it has something to do with when you play on say version 7.0.1 then update to 7.0.2 make edits with it, start the game and for some reason the changes wont show up more the option for the edited database.

The only true way of testing, is to uninstall the game, remove the sports interactive folder in c:drive program files, also remove the folders in my documents, make sure if you have a saved game or graphics to back them up.

Reinstall the game, patch up, make your edits add any graphics you may have, that should do the trick with your edited database.
