Hi, first post with a question for FM2006. As i am new to the FM06 game (just bought it for about €1) i have tried the pre-game editor. Works ok, managed to create and add a club into the belgian league w/o prob. However, i have discovered that there's a existing cup (belgian league cup) in the editor, but it is NOT active in the game. How can i activate this cup? I am NOT creating a cup, since i have understand that this seems impossible according many topics, just activating a cup that is already present in the editor. Hope to get some answers here!! thanks

It sounds as though its a cup that no longer runs in real life. The european cup winners' cup is listed as well but ended in 1999.

The reason they'll both be there is so in-game club history shows winner/runners-up achievements, e.g. arsenal winning in 1994.

Unfortunately, you can't activate it as all valid competition formats are hard coded.
