I am new to the FM2006, but am exploring the editor. I have noticed that eg Real Madrid have 3 teams (A-B-C) all of them active in a different league. In the editor, the B-team, or Castilla, is marked as a B-team, and thus linked to Real Madrid A (are you still with me?). I have created a team in the Belgian league, and want to create a B or C team that will be playing in another league. However, when creating a new team i can not label it the same way real madrid-B is labelled. I hope this post is a bit clear as it is pretty confusing... When starting the game, the game creates a reserve and a U19, but i can not find them in the editor. Anyone could shed some light upon this?
Thanks
If you create a B team, they will become a normal team so want be entered into the reserve leagues. You will have to put them into a league using the editor.
They will always be you a second string team to your main team and will never be able to be promoted into the same league like irl!
Well, that's the thing, i don't seem to be able to link my new team with me new b-team, when i start up the game they are always 2 teams, with their own resverves and U19's... :s
I don't understand why i can't choose the kind of team, such as there's the option with other teams. Or is this only a ficture for the spanish teams?
When you have the new patch this is what you need to do;
you dont create a new club.
Use an exsisting club and when you select that club in the editor, go to the edit (drop down, top left) button and choose "add reserve team". This is how you create a B/C team.

Spain, France, Germany, and Switzerland have systems wherein B/II/Reserve teams play in lower leagues. In Belgium, there is a separate league for reserves.

i have version of the editor 6.1, and there i have the option "add team" (or something like that) and then it creates the A-B-C or whatever team i wanted it to be. However, when i will do that, will it automatically stop creating reserve and u19 team, since in the belgian league there's a seperate competion for them, or will it have the Ateam next to the reserves and U19?

I also forgĂ*t to ask: what's the difference between a feeder club and a b-team? can i create feeder clubs in FM2006, because i don't have the option to sk my board generating one, like i have read in several postings?

Acquiring a feeder club is a new feature in FM07.
thanks, seems one more reason to buy the FM07! because i don't buy every season the new game just for the sake of having the last transfers, but indeed some features are a must have thanks anyway
