I know its ancient but I love the game, until recently I haven't bothered with the editor, well not I have and I am not happy so I want to restore the normal settings, how on earth do you do that? Please help me!!

If you have amended the database you will need to uninstall and reinstall to go back to the original database

Er CM 4 is not CM 03/04 iirc?

Just download and reinstall the patch and the patch will override your edited database.

p.s i have uninstalled the game about 5 times now and the changes are still showing, its really annoying! I have also tried copying the back up files and deleteing the server_db and pasting the correct info in and this still does not work!

A normal uninstall will not clear previous saved details- you will have to do a clean uninstall including the registry and hidden files ( do a search for details ), then reinstall for a clean start.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, deleting the files etc etc and still when i load the new game the players are at the right club but show the team i put them to when i edited the database, its starting to drive me crazy! Please help lol
