Hi,
I'm trying to get a list of all playable leagues in FM that don't feature relegation out of the playable league (ie into non league)
eg, Scotland
Holland
If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
David

Hi David
I can see what you are trying to do and I have thought about it myself but have never found an answer!
The problem is that all the leagues that support B teams have relagation in them.
I once used the Romanian league and put in all B teams form across Europe (B team superleague) but the problem came when teams where relagated, only Romanian teams could get promoted. The only way round it would be to make all the teams Romanian (not practical).
Reading the other post I was suprised to see your B team got relagated! I put my Arsenal B/C teams in the spanish second division b1/b4 and they won there leagues, on average winning 4-0 5-0.

Hi again Gooner Steve,
The C Side in Scotland gets up to the firt division, but the B Side in Austria got relegated both times (This could be because the editor kept changing arsenals nationality to Austrian, all the players left). The nationality bit has been fixed now, and i put the B team in the dutch first division, and they finished bottom there?
I think maybe because I wasn't managing them and Wenger sent most of them out on loan so in reality both teams were C teams.

It doesn't matter whether the league supports B teams or not if you place a B team of a different nation into it.
The conflict only happens if you have 2 teams from the same club in the same league structure.
Ie. putting Real Madrid B into a say, the Premiership will cause no problems because the Real Madrid first team are in the Spanish league.

| The B/C teams in different league thing always produces odd results, in my experience. I'm currently playing with a B team in the Scottish League and a C Team in the Welsh. Both teams are largely made up of aging first teamers or up and coming youngsters, most of whom are U21 internationals (or full internationals if they're from smaller nations) that can't quite break my firsdt team through lack of experience. Yet somehow, My B team is bottom of the Scottish Division Three (Despite being mainly made up of England U21/19 internationals and ex-full Dutch/French/Brazlian internationals, while my C team, made up of mainly youth team promotees and African nations' U21s is in mid-table in the Welsh Premier. The average CA of the player in my C Team is nearly three times that of the average CA of the WPL leaders, yet they still can't get a result, even with a top ex-manager running the team (Harry Bassett) - it just doesn't make sense...

It's simple really: These teams don't matter, the players don't care as the matches are pretty much non-competitive and just there for match fitness.
Check Spain for proof of this. Barcelona's B team is full of good players, some of them are even world class, yet they usually don't make it into the second division when playing.

Getting back on topic, I know that the Australian A-League doesn't have relegation.. (..yet, will Townsville and Wellington get a team next year?)

South Korean N-League.
In the first season, no one gets relegated from the K-League, either.
