It seems to me that everybody uses a different tactic in home games to away games. This is something I've tried in the past but found my players struggle with two seperate sets of instructions to learn. As such I now use the same formation and team/player instructions home and away. I play a fairly attacking 4,2,1,2,1 formation with farrows on my full-backs and CM with diagonal farrows on my two wide AMs. This seems to produce consistency, having said that my away record is stronger than my home record and a defeat usually sparks a 4 or 5 game run without a win. I go on similar winning runs and wondered if a seperate home tactic could improve my home record and maybe help my avoid these poor runs and add to my sides season long consistency?
