I've started a game with Villa, and am using Moore and E. Johnson upfront. I'm rotating Gabby, so as you can tell I'm opted to use two fast strikers. However, I can't seem to utilize them properly. I'm not sure whether it's because I play them in the wrong games (i.e. with their defenders having fast defenders) or simply because the individual player instructions I have are wrong.
They just can't seem to find space to exploit the opposition defenders.
This leaves me with another question. If I was opting to play two fast strikers, then shouldn't I ideally be playing a slow tempo'd passing game- with all my midfielders to try through balls often?
try playing with an AM playing lots of through balls, and both strikers on forward runs often. might help them get through as they wont have to hold the ball up in play

Thanks for help in advance.
i have found that if you want more involvement of your strikers, they need to not have often forward runs, low/medium closing down and exceptional individuals can get a free role. team width might be worth a look as well.
with e johnson, u might consider a target man role, with moore being a feeder. great target man combinations can be found in the tactic bible.
you can also consider a longball/throughball/target man runs onto ball approach. but the ai plays deep most of the times imo. so you want fast strikers to drop deep and run with ball.
