If you are playing with a low premiership team, I would use 4-1-3-2
Set Your players to the standard positions, for example in the back 4, set the 2 centre backs to centre backs. Full backs, to full backs etc. In the midfield have a tireless defensive mid who has a good work rate and determination. If you have already played 3 games the transfer window is probably coming to a close. With the rest of the midfield have two wingers with pace and crossing ability set to wingers however change the tackling ability to medium not soft/easy on the winger issue. The centre mid make him have forward runs.
The two strikers set to strikers.
On team instructions set to counter attack.
Dont play about with how deep the defence is, dont push them up as opposition premiership forwards are probably alot quicker then your centre backs.
Make sure a team instruction is close down your opposition as your team wont be techinically gifted as other premiership teams you will need to win the ball back with a high work rate. Make sure even your forwards close down midfielders or opposition centre backs.
You are going to have to concentrate on scoring goals on counter attack and set pieces. So revise set pieces well for example using a centre back with high heading ability in the area.
