If you choose to give individual instructions to each player how can you influence the positions of the players on the pitch?i mean first of all you want your squad to be compact BUT if your defenders have the ball you want your 4 or 5 midfielders to try looking for some spaces to receive the ball. One player more than the other so you can have a balanced formation. What affects a player position is forward runs, creative freedom and free role.Is that right?any other opinions?i have watched around 40 mathches in full detail on very slow speed and i am convinced that mentality influence only his passingOther ideas?

What is influencing the position on the pitch Post #2
let's say my right midfielder has the ball and i want that my left MC to be a little more advanced on the pitch than the right MC.Not with forward runs or arrows.without those.like in real life with 2 or 3 meters. In this way the player who has the ball will have much more options to pass the ball. How can i make one player to be a little more advanced on the pitch than the other player who is beside him? With mentality or creative freedom? What do you think?

What is influencing the position on the pitch Post #6
in this way(with forward runs set on often and the other set on rarely it will be to much hole between them.i just want a little little difference on their position on the pitch.if both of them will have forward runs set on minimum what will be the main difference?mentality and creative freedom?Creative freedom comes in efect when your team has the ball or just when the players with a high creative freedom have the ball?
