Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Canary2005 is infamous around these parts
Default Tightly marked

Once I get near to the top of the league table the a.i starts to tightly mark my players pretty much all over the pitch with regular success (0-0 draws!) . Is there a simple way to lower the A.Is ability to to this?

Are you sure you mean tight marking?

Could it be that you mean the they are closing you down?

If this is the case, I would advise you to increase your tempo slightly so that you are less likely to get caught in possesion and play slightly wider as this will mean the other team's players will have further to travel to close your wide players down.

yeah a good formation is the 4-3-1-2 where the two strikers have sarrows so they drag the defenders out wide and the amc makes runs into the box with an easier task of scoring
