I've seen loads of posts lately from people who are losing it with FM2007.
I've tried for months to get my tactics right, tweeking here and there to no avail, no matter what I did, after initially doing fairly well, my results would go downhill and I'd start to get hammered, especially on the road..
Anyways.. I've FINALLY sorted my 4231 formation and it's working a treat. At first I had a seperate home and away tactic, but as morale and reults have improved I've gradually been able to inpliment my home tactic for most matches, beating Arsenal and United by two or three goal margins and turning around what was heading for a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea (via a deflected goal, how real is that eh?) into a 2-1 win.
I'm controlling most games, especially at home where I'm enjoying superior possession.
So anyway.. I'll post the tactic up when I get the chance, but the point is, keep sticking at it. I think the game is difficult, that's the beauty of it, if it was a walkover then what would be the point? The game takes alot of hard work, and a great deal more patience, but stick at it, refine your tactic until results start to turn for the better!
I've lost a couple of games (about 4 or 5 I think), you can't win them all, but I'm top of the
Prem with a decent 6pt lead, with around 9 games left. I think much depends on building morale though and through good results you build a momentum..
