i signed lilian thuram on a free second season to tutor insua as liverpool but it wont let me any help would be good thanks

I don't think you can have players that you've just signed as tutors - like in real life, you wouldn't see a new signing as a senior player in the ranks neccessarily and as a result would probably not leave him to tutor a youth player - he'd have his own things to do, like settle in himself.

Thuram is a cb an Insua is a lb, but I bet it lets you choose one of your left backs as a tutor for Insua.

I play with patch 7.02 but....

You can definately have players you have just signed as tutors.

Players only need to be on the same horizontal level of the pitch to be able to tutor - not the same vertical level as well - e.g. a LB could tutor a RB succesfully.

Do you have no options for tutors is is thuram just not one of them?


If you have no options for tutors make sure insua is not a first team regular and is set at decent youngster or hot prospect. It may help to put him in the reserves for a bit.


If you have options but thuram is not one of them - make sure thuram is in first team squad - also - the game will only offer a limited number of tutors so if you have lots of appropriate players you will need to assign others to other youngsters to make way for thuram to be an option, or move some of the other tutors to the reserves whilst you assign thuram to insua.
