Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Tactical Advice For Sunderland Needed Please Help

I like to play as Sunderland but obviously they are weaker than most of the other teams in the EPL. I like to play a 4-4-2 with a target man. I have read that the AI can crack your tactics and you need to change every so often if this is true or not i don't really know.

If i play with 2 CMs at home and the slider a few notches towards attacking when facing stronger teams what is best? 2 CMs with more defensive instructions of maybe playing with 2 DMs to try and break down the stronger team and hit them on the counter attack?

I just want a few opinions from people who have had success with weaker teams. I really like to play a 4-4-2 diamond but this tactic doesn't seem to work aswell on 08 as it did on 07 and 06. Any advice on how to get a 4-4-2 to work when playing stronger teams and how to set it out when playing team i should beat? Thanks guys.
