I'd prob say VDV too, hes certainly easier and cheaper to get than Montolivo but having played a season as Fiorentina i have to say Monty IS class, he had something like an assist per game by the end of the season and quite a few goals, almost all corkers, won goal of the season and 1 month had the top 3!

i'd go for VDV but only because Montolivo knocked me back and joined Real madrid. As purefun said VDV better in middle and montolivo on the wing.

ps. Luiz is a class defender but will probably cost around £20mil

Cheers guys. Signed Luiz for £7.25m in season 2. Signed VDV but he got injured after the first league game, out for 2 months, he's sooooooo injury prone!
