Is it me or does England as the mother of football appear to have less say on how the game is run at world level than we should do?
As a football fan witht the good of the game at heart I often feel dissolution by the irritating nature of Mr Blatter's control of FIFA. The suggested rule changes, change in competition formats within Europe and his constant interfering and comments about the most successful league in the world, (Premiership)
Perhaps I am being Naive, but who from our own FA has the power to challenge the decisions made on the continent, effecting the game over here when it is perfectly okay as it stands. Furthermore what isn't football's governing body not here in England?
We are merely one of 193 nations affiliated to FIFA. History has granted the 4 home nations one place on FIFA's main committee, so we have more clout than most.
