Default Newcastle - £37M+ to spend, Season 2

Ok, I need some advice for transfers.

I just finished my 1st season with Newcastle and it went pretty well. Did great in the league, coming 3rd with 76 points (2 behind Liverpool). This was mainly thanks to a great unbeaten home record, winning 16, drawing 3, scoring 44, conceding 10. Sadly, didn't too well away. Knocked out of FA and League Cup too early.

Anyhow, I've been given a nice amount of £37M this season. I'm planning to sell off Owen and a few other players so I should have a total of around 55M+ to spend.

I need some good signings since I'm going to be in the CL this year. He's my current team (youngsters moved to U19s, people for sale in reserves)
Team

I've had 14M bids for Enrique, and 10M bids for Stancu, but rejected them.

Who should I sell, which positions should I strengthen and who would you recommend I should buy?

Thanks for your time and advice.
I'm probably off to bed so I'll check up on this in the morning.

Sold:
Given - 6M
Geremi - 3M
Carr - 1.5M
Dzsudzsak - 10M + 20% (My board accepted it. Paid 120K for him last year, so I'm not that bothered)

Got over £50M now.

Tactics

There ya go. But I only use that tactic for most home games. For hard matches and away games I play a 4-1-4-1.

Clerc is immense :o Will cost about 12.5M though, should I buy him? Or Rafinha for about 9M.

Yeah my defence is quite weak, but Taylor, Samba, Enrique have potential (I think). Then again, I conceded 47 in the league last season :/ But that partially the keepers fault too.

Sold Owen for 12.5M + 50%.
Got 3 offers of 11.5M for Barton, I can probably squeeze more out of them + % sell on.

£62.6M transfer fees atm.
Off to bed. Be back tomorrow.

first of all menez is a natural leftsided player so put him there and he is better than n'zogbia

you could replace banega with someone like makoun II or veloso they are better defence wise and makoun esp. is a rock and a beast and well i'm afriad of him

like i said for your defence those two will do fine i think

a better gk is a must : go for costil or coupet or lloris all french and quality

another striker and another amc are also needed there are plenty so take your pick

I noticed that you had to players with work permit problems, offer them new contracts and they'll be able to play.

Invest in Anderson , He is worth every penny , scored 25 in a season for Swansea in my game , and by the time he is 27 , he is better than Clerc. GET HIM
