My asst manager says we're weak in defence. Playing as Inter in 2012. I know we're not as strong as Juventus at the back. Can anyone recommend someone to add to this...

In 2012:

Maicon -> 30-31
Chivu -> 30-31
Maxwell-> 30-31
Burdiso-> 30-31
Samuel -> 35-35

Thats an OLD backline there. You really need to add some youngsters to that. 31 is probably the final year of the players at their peak. To top that off Raul Albiol is nowhere near one of the better defenders in the game. You can easily strengthen that lineup. Just depends on how much money you have. Suggestions (money not a factor):

DR: Abenzoar, De Silvestri, Marvin Angulo
DL: Traore, Guilherme, Insua, Bale
DC: Djourou, Zapata, Garay, Breno

Richards is a brilliant CB. Albiol, I suppose, would be a great backup. You can phase Samuel out and get one of the mentioned guys to partner Richards in the centre. Chivu & Albiol can be on rotation. Try finding more regens.
