It is easy to make ridiculous amounts of money in FM06 by selling a couple of average players for way over the odds anyway. Having money does take away one aspect of the game, but it's still bloody hard to sign anyone decent regardless of your bank account due to the reputation issue.

btw lost the replay 3-1. Not too bad but still a loss.
For those who consider the draw as hitting the jackpot, attendance was not even 30,000.

Again, I would have prefered winning and be satisfied with the prize money.

I know I speak against the majority here, but for me cups rock. (In England at least) They're good for some cash, they're good for your reputation, or, at worst, they're the perfect occasion to blood some of your youngsters.

I love cups...

That's right, England is one of the few countries were you get decent prizemoney for winning rounds.
