Those who've read my whinge elsewhere know where this is heading, so I'll keep it brief.

A few players brought in to strengthen the squad, board wanted to avoid relegation, fans wanted mid-table. I was with the fans.

Previous season's top scorer (27 in 37 games) proved once more that he couldn't cut it in the EPL (5 in 25 two seasons ago, 3 in 20 this) and so was shipped out in January.

I'm not as pleased as I should be at having brought the title to South Wales, I still don't think we were the best team in the league.

Heh. The game against Luxembourg was very Sweden v Trinidad & Tobago.

2-0 down after 10 minutes, and 3-3 with 10 to go didn't feel like a whalloping.
