Somehow my players forgot that they normally played great at home and a bit (or a big bit) worse away. In fact the first part of the season they were quite terrible at home (at a certain point 3-0-6) but we were always quite decent or even good in our away games this season. In fact I think I may say we were truely great playing away, conceding only 8 in 15 games.

Due to the terrible home run in the first part of the season we never where close to the promotion places until the later stages of the season where home form picked up a bit. 2 games before the end we were still 5 points away from the promotion play-off spot. Luck was on our side this time as Trelleborgs FF decided to lose and draw meaning we grabbed the spot on GD.

Promotion Play-off against Kalmar FF was a bit of a non-event, dominating the first game but only drawing 2-2 and losing (most likely deserved) 1-3 playing away. Another season in Div1 for us next season. Our record earner ML was deeply missed but he was out because of an injury.

Finances getting slightly better, still in the red ofc. New record gate receipt in the promotion play-off game of 12k.

Cup: see 2007 and/or see 2008 and/or see 2009. Would be nice to win a cup game just for a change.

Superstriker scored a bit less this season because of just another long-term injury so recordearner ML got topscorer of the season for the club. He got also the Goal of the Season in our Division :thup:, got fans fav of the year and was selected in the First Division Team of the Year :thup:
Also selected: yet again my MRC, added by my DL and a MC.

Attrackted a young DMC at the start of the season who was a few games on loan in 2009 and he immediatley became one of the club's fav personnel. I better treat him good .
Super MRC is also club's fav personnel btw.

Young DC promoted to the team, but so far I have doubts about his future.

Played a few friendlies with Canada, won the first two against Faroe Islands and Dominica but lost pretty convincing against Croatia.

In 2011 we are defending, as host nation, the North American Gold Cup. Hoping we do decent there.

We didn't quite get to the point that we compete for the promotion places this year. We started out lousy, picked up form, started to lose points as soon as we reached the promotion spots, lost points, picked up form, lost points as soon as we approached the promotion spots. You get the feeling. Despite the 10 points we got out of the last 4 games we came 1 point short to reach the play-off spot again, meaning another 4th place.

Cups: errrm. How shall I bring it. We won a game, and another, and another to finally lose against Kalmar FF in the QF. Yes them again.

Traditionally my midfield did once again very good. Super MRC, swedish/albanian MC and recordearner ML all got selected in the First Division Team of the Year. Swedish/Albanian picked up his 3rd fans fav of the year title. He's now one of the 3 most favorites of the club as well.

One thing is slowly bothering me. The first XI is slowly but steadily aging and with few players wanting to play for me I'm fearing that in one of the upcoming years I will get into trouble.

A whopping 3! youngsters promoted at the end of the season, one even promising according to my staff.

All in all not a very good season for the clubs from Malmö. We failed, yet again, to get promoted; IFK Malmö relegated back to the second division and the manager of Malmö FF got sacked.

Was cannon fodder in the North American Gold Cup (what the heck is Brazil doing there? :o) and even bigger cannon fodder in the Confederations Cup. FA still pleased though. In total won 2 games and lost 7 with Canada.

Just noticed that the 2014 Worldcup is played in Canada. If I keep my job until then I can extend my cannon fodder beingness a bit I guess.
