After last year's moderate succes I was hoping for a midtable position, board still wanted to fight relegation. In the early stages of the season it looked like the board was more right as we plummeted down the league table while being on a 9 game serie without a win. Form picked up though and we ended the season as 7th.
Still a major difference in Home and Away form. We were slightly better away this year (5-1-9) and we did lose less at home but also won less at home (7-6-2)
Sold my ML at the early stage of the season for a whopping 80k, meaning we made a profit of 111k this season. Debt down to 235k. As a reward the board cut my wage budget a bit further meaning I'm yet again above budget
<repeat of last season> Again out in the second round of the Cup, this time to a Div 2 team. Ah well, it was an away game what could I expect? </repeat>
I don't think I have to tell that the second round the first round is we participated the last two seasons?
Stikers scored more (2 main strikers getting 24 goals combined); other players scored less so that didn't make much of a difference. New ML (the record earner) getting Goal of the Season, MRC gets once again fan's player of the year. Together with a MC they all get selected in the Team of the Year. Atleast I can't blame my midfield
