Diving into LLM with Vasco da Gama

After lurking here for a while I thought that I should post something really meaningful.

So here it is: Yet another update thread.
Asked Frank and he told me to bugger off to Vasco da Gama in Portugal (see the bad joke in title) 2nd League B South.

Season 2004/05 Vasco da Gama
Board expected to avoid Relegation. Surprisingly we managed to keep up with the elite for quite some time before the lack of quality in our squad decided to play a factor in the league.

Cup: Entered and Left in 2nd Round

Out: 5 Players all on free

Season 2005/06 Vasco da Gama
Board still just wanted us to fight bravely. I was a little more confident. Boy was I wrong. After a long time in relegation zone a good finish saw us climbing out of the drop zone.

Cup: Out in 3rd

Out: None
Funny Chairman told me that no transfer budget meant I should give our youth a chance. Looking through our youth setup showed me no player at all.

Season 2006/07
1 Game in the season first choice striker who scored 38 goals over the last 2 seasons gets injured. Another game in the seasons brings us another striker injured. Playing with only one striker till christmas doesnt do us any good and
we struggle to find some points and goals. During winter we sell 3 players (4k winger leaves for 20k) and 4 new players come in (still no new striker) Uninjured strikers plus new signings bring us up in table and we dont need to worry bout relegation in april.

Cup: Out in 3rd

Life in League 2B in Portugal means money wasting so I guess i'll jump ship as soon as I'll get the opportunity cause we lose around 150K a season and are now in dept with 300k = no transfer money for me any time soon.

Just forgot to mention if there are some strange sentences or word in my posts blame it on me not speaking english as a first language or on the school system in austria.
