Season 2008/09
Like always board expects to avoid relegation. This season we actually got 2 youth player, one of them (a FC) immediatly becomes the 2nd most valued player of my team and as such a place on my bench.
IN comes: a DM LC who spent the last 4 seasons at Lille without playing a game before they decided to drop him from their squad.
OUT goes: 4th choice striker (with new youth forward he would be 5th) for 8k and a D/DM L for 3k
We surprise everybody when we start with 4 2-0 wins into the season. Eventualy we also lose some games and are able to stabilize between 2nd and 5th place throughout the season.
W: 19 D: 8 L: 11 +23 4th Place
Cups: entered in 2nd out in 4th
Two cash injections makes this the first season without losing aditionaly money.

Once i get my PC fixed sign me up Vasco | Well to call a 4th place a relegation scrap isn't exactly what I would call Valid. Still if you dont get bored by portuguese names (they all seem to be named Pedro or Jorge) it's quite a good time as the board doesnt expect anything at all.
