I always try to hire guys with the same nationality as the team, failing that, who speak the language and have some connection with the country. For example I've got a scout from Benin with my current side in France, he speaks French and spent the last four years of his playing career here.
At risk of stating the obvious, you should ask yourself 'would it realistic for a club like mine to employ that member of staff'?

Is there a limit on how many coaches I can have?
In my non-LLM career, I often had as many as 11 or 12 just so I could maintain 4 or 5 stars per training regime and no more than an average workload per coach.
This seemed excessive but it was the only way to get 4 or 5 stars.
I'm thinking that a good rule would be to have no more coaches than any team in your league. For instance, if the team in my league with the most coaches has 4 coaches, I too would be restricted to 4.
A stricter version would be to not be able to have more coaches than the team with the fewest amount.
What's a good guideline for this?

If you have 12 coaches and/or you have 4-5 stars as a starting up LLM-club, there is something seriously wrong.
Try to keep it realistic. I don't have a problem with 3-4 coaches when you've risen in stature a bit though. But at the start it should be assman plus max 1 coach, or 2 if you're stretching it. Your economy and reputation should be your guide really.
I now have a pretty decent team (see update), and only manage to have 2-3 stars with 5-6 coaches.

Playing in England now, I finally gave up on Job centre. Perhaps in FM2018, when it will be correctly implemented.

I am at the horrible stage at the moment of just turning pro and all the staff and players suddenly think they are God's gift and asking for shedloads!!
| I know, I just turned pro and have had 5 players come out and say they want new deals, and there are others but they dont announce it publicly. One of my players had a 1100% wage increase! :toofar:
