Season 2008/2009, League One, Wrexham

8 players brought in for a combined total of £575,000 and 10 out for £1,400,000. Sp I'm expected to fight bravely against relegation? Got off to an excellent start, couldn't stop picking the points up, unfortunatly neither could Reading or Queens Park Rangers collecting a grand total of 5 points in my last 11 league games and going out in the LDV trophy in the Northern Final 4-3 on aggregate to Oldham.

FA Cup, went out 1-0 in a Third Round replay at Portman Road after I drew 1-1 With Ipswich at the Racecourse Ground. (I hate 90th min goals).

League Cup got hammerd 5-1 on TV away at Wolves.

The Chosen One kept up his impressive record by bagging 32 goals and 10 assists in 46 league games.

QPR got 95 points, Reading got 91 :eek:

Position - 3rd, Won - 27, Drew - 4, Lost - 15, Scored - 98, Conceded - 58, Goal Difference - +40, Points - 85.

Lost out to Brighton in the Play Offs 1-0 and 2-1. Preston North End won the Play Offs.

Thurrock ended up finishing 22nd in the Conference and getting relegated. (Still as part timers).
