I always let Frank decide which team I'm going to play. But most of the times I always have the intention to say to myself... Ahhh Frank, not that one please. And I go for another hit.
I do that many times untill I get a nice team.
I start a new game, but when I'm filling in my name and birth something in my head says that it's not right what I'm doing. So I go back to Frank again and this story happens again untill I'm bored with myself and go back to Frank again and play the first team he tells me to play.

Do you guys always play Frank's first choice?

I was going to say yes, but he tried to send me to Turkey last time. I took his second choice.

A while back I asked Frank to give me a nice list of about 100 teams. I wrote them down and picked one with a dart.

The theory is that when I need a new save, I'll chuck another dart.

The reality is, by the time I need a new save, I'll have lost the list and will have to go back to Frank anyway!

You could always type the list up in a document. Then next time you start a game you can open the document and throw darts at your monitor.

I'm at work now, but when I'm home. I will immediately go to see Frank and ask him for the final time before Christmas which crappy team I should take.

I honestly find it difficult to play with a team with colours I dislike, especially if it's going to be a long save. So what I used to do for FM2005 & before was get a list of 3 teams and pick the one I like the best.

With that problem now sorted for the new Frank, I usually decide which country I want to play in and generate a team from there.

I spent around 6 months managing Santa Ines in Brazil. They play in yellow and white, I abandoned the game I couldn't read the damn commentary ..

Frank is evil and I have it on good authority that when you press his buttons all he does is throw a dart at a list of names.
