the chocolate monkey experiment is infamous around these parts

Nobby_McDonald has labelled me a 'lurker' and prompted me to start posting, so I thought I'd begin a topic. I would like to do an update thread, but it's been an eternity since I completed one season, let alone three, so instead...

I thought I'd start a friendly competition to see who can come up with the topic/post that, if not created tongue in cheek, would most infuriate the LLM mods. The kind of posts that a virgin LLMa might leave that really makes you cringe (and him singe). I'll start the ball rolling with...

"Took charge of Eastbourne Boro and romped to the Conf South title in my first season. I managed to buy a 16 Yr old Estonian Striker who had performed wonders for me in a previous game of FM, so I knew he would do the business at Priory Lane. I'll update you after I've completed my second season".

i spent a few weeks in GP&TG and T&TT working out which we're the best young players and really getting to grips with tactics and the training module and im ready for my career with wycombe.

i was going to play in scottishland, but it's sh*t their and its full of ginger mutants, so didnt bother.

i hired 15 coaches to get my training up to 5 stars, but didnt bother with scouts as i know which are the best players to get so dont need them.

i never lost a game all season, although i did draw one - i forgot to change my injured goalie out - my bad!

hopefully ill romp straight to the premier and my fave team liverpool() will hire me (if not ill just add a new manager and take them over then resign and apply for the job )

I think Elrawkum takes an early lead, if for no other reason than mkus' use of text language has reminded me that school starts again next week.

And why do the kids say 'My Bad'?

Hippity-Hop has so much to answer for. That pesky Grand Master Flash.

I've often wondered what the typical LLM backing track is. Probably something dark and bitter - Johnny Cash perhaps?

For my next mod-infuriating post may I offer...

"I think the player naming rule is stupid and unrealistic. I mean, when Barry Fry rings up Harry Redknapp, they will discuss players and tell each other about people they have spotted that may improve each others teams, so why can't LLMas tell each other about players they've spotted that might help out other managers"?

There seem to be three main musical 'genres' preferred by LLaMas:

Rootsy blues/trad rock - favoured by oldies such as Iajafer and dvw (Dave). Sometimes these can take it too far, admitting to liking very masturbatory prog rock and ghey 'torch' songs...

Metal - favoured by the likes of Cosmo-Poof, TFS and other younger LLaMas. They'll grow out of it hopefully.

Indie - favoured by peeps like Seamus, myself and RossTheC***ingC***. We just try to out-obscure each other

Oh, and Rob likes Radiohead.

You forgot Goth, Industrial, Punk and New Wave for me (with a dash of new romantic and metal) for me.
