Some notes on Scouting Abroad and Identifying/Signing non-Scouted targets.
Several Nations have historic links with other Countries and as a result have a considerable number of foreign players with Teams that perhaps wouldn't normally be there, e.g. Brazilians in Portugal, Senegalese and North African Nationals in France or Middle Africans in Holland.
I wouldn't know of any Middle African country that Holland has any historical ties with.
There are Dutch players who aren't of caucasian origin, but they are mainly from the former colony of Surinam (independance 1975), which is in South America.
Maybe this was meant to be the historic link between Congo/Zaire (in Middle Africa) and Belgium?

Unless you mistake Indonesia for Middle Africa, I think that map shows the opposite
Funny map, I'm sure that the Dutch never owned all those territories at the same time. We swapped Nieuw Amsterdam (now New York) with the Brits for Dutch Guyana (now Surinam). Great deal, clearly shows the shrewd Dutch sense of business

The real question is how much did it cost each country when they lost their respective territories. From all reports Surinam has better beaches and sun anyway.
