Apparently, we're going to be able to switch off certain aspects. For example, if we're away in Basingstoke for our summer holidays first game of August, we don't have to run the Champions League. This would speed up the game for many of us llamas, but is it realistic? Is it an extension of switching off the Indonesian league, or is it a step too far?
I'm assuming you'd be able to switch things back on as and when you need them, but I'm not sure I'd be happy to use this feature.

Variable detail in FM2007...what's the general LLM consensus? Post #2
I'm not sure you can switch off the CL and the like. You can set at what detail they play (Full, basic) if i recall correct. Granted, I haven't read that post...
There are options for setting the detail levels of many competitions, but...hmmmm
/me wonders if he's saying too much.

Granted you'll have no problem with that machine.
If they are anything like past "warnings" I've found that I can break them with impunity. Even on my mediocre machine I well exceed the 'recommmended' with FM. I believe (based on my EHM experiences as well) that SI's idea of speed and mine are not quite the same. I loaded up around 30 leagues and max db the other day and even during transfer window it was no more than a few minutes processing time each continue. Saving and load times about 8-10 years in are the killers.
