Ok ten time was (admitedly) a completely random number. However, with that great an increase demand you could certainly charge a much higher price than if you could only sell each ticket once. If the demand curve moves dramatically to the right (10x demand) there will be a marked increase in the price of tickets. I think it is fair to assume that this is true as (in my oppinion) the demand for tickets is likely to be fairly price inelastic, particularly at a club with a high reputation.

Have you tried asking the board for a stadium expansion?? Im sure that will result in you gaining another 2000 seats in 6 months if you have the money

Yeah that usually works, but I hate even having to do that. Don't the silly feckers see that you need some more seats without having to be told?

Which leads me (via a few mental leaps) to another question: has anone ever successfully given thier board an ultimatum and got what they've wanted. I given an ultimated and have avoided the sack, but I've never actually got what I was asking for.

Yes, back in 01/02 in my first Billericay adventure.

Had been promoted to the Premier League and gave an ultimatum to increase the ground capacity, which was 15,000 at the time (Premier League minimum). The board said no, but were willing to overlook my outburst this once due to everything I had done for the club.
Two weeks later, the board bowed to supporter pressure and increased the ground to 19,500.
