I'm not worried mate.
Apparently I had underestimated the extraordinary importance that some of you put on this LLM stuff though. I mean this is bordering on Dungeons and Dragons sadness. Let the roasting commence.

I'm sure you're not. But think about it for a second. You've just abused a regular on the forum, ridiculed LLM in general, dismissed ethics as unimportant, not read the forum rules properly (at at least understood them)... and dissed D&D too!

But just for clarification, I'll answer these for you:

Nowhere. But in order to play realistically, the statement you used 'didn't help your cause'.

2. Where in the rules does it state I cannot use other forums to discuss players in my team? One would have to search my previous posts to find the info on that loan player...hardly a bloody trade secret. If I had named him in THIS thread or on THIS forum then you'd have a point "McDonald" you ****ing geordie bellend.
'without the need for tipping, cheating or bragging.' Reading 'advice' forums is cheating as far as the ethos of LLM is concerned. The rest is irrelevant and the abuse foolish.

3. Ethics or not, if it's not in the rules then get stuffed.
The LLM way of playing is all about ethics. The rules apply to the forum, the guidelines apply to our games, and they are just that; guidelines. Because of the ethos of the way we play, we don't need to be told in tiny detail what we can and can't do. If you can't understand that, then you can all get... well you know the rest.

What's sad pal is that you're still posting in here.

Go back from whence you came ... and be careful you don't trip over your ego on the way out.

There's a good chap

“You've just abused a regular on the forum”

He might be a regular, but he’s just another all-mouth keyboard warrior who had a go at me first.

“ridiculed LLM in general”

Actually I disagree with that. You see this little forum is not the be all and end all of LLM in Football Manager. In fact LLM to me means playing the game from the lowest rung in the game and using the tools that Sig Games built into the game. I fail to see how using those tools “ridicule” LLM, when it was Sig who put them in the game. I may have laughed at the pompousness of the rules in this little club on this little forum, but never at LLM. This forum is just one version of LLM.

“dismissed ethics as unimportant”

Actually that’s an interesting discussion in itself. How many managers in real life do you think would turn down the opportunities available in the game? Yes Mr. Brown here’s 500k for that youth player who scored a shed load of goals against inferior opposition. And while we are at it, here are 50 coaches to train the entire team…..”Ooh that’s tempting…but I’ll pass, cos that’s unethical…and very unrealistic”

On the one hand you moan about playing the game as “realistically as possible” and on the other you moan about ethics. Read my last paragraph again and see if you can spot the contradictions.

“not read the forum rules properly (at least understood them)”

I read them and understood them. You have failed to say where I have broken any of the rules.

“... and dissed D&D too!”

No idea what that is…don’t bother telling me either.

You still failed to prove i am a cheat.
In fact if it were the case, my three seasons with Harrogate would seem to indicate I am the worst cheat in the world

Nope, other than tipping off people NOT PLAYING THE RULES DICTATED IN THIS FORUM about ONE player, I did nothing that warranted the bitching that has happened in this thread.

My tactics are my own making and the advice I asked for in those other threads were nothing that a coach in real life would not look for. That’s REALISM pal.

You could have prevented it and been welcomed if you had shown a different attitude. Read my first post to you - it attempted to guide you in the right direction. You chose instead to react negatively. Look up the second post rule.
