Players making a public statement, calling on the team to win a game in order to gain promotion/avoid relegation. Particularly because we nearly always do.

Those occasional bursts of 'sexy football' which make me think 'Yes! That's the way to do it!'

Those more than occasional moments when my players are nearly playing well and I'm absolutely certain that everything will click into place in the very next game... and it nearly does. Then I'm certain that it will click in the next game... and then it's 4am and I've fallen asleep in my chair.

The really bizarre occurances which the game can throw up from time to time, and I've just seen one.

Now I'm used to see the supports fury message, boos and jeers greeting their team's perfomance towards the end of a game. Usually after another 0-0 draw has curtailed any chance of a competitive season for their team.

So when Kidderminster managed to lose 10-1 at home to Bristol Rovers, why were they waiting till the end. No red cards, just a poor performance (the 1 was an own goal to make it 6-1). It does mean the Premiership leaders have a negative goal difference.

After about 10 seasons of game time finally getting to play in the snow with an orange ball!! Quality!! :thup:

And I've only just noticed the different size goals (deeper nets) and pitches that some teams have ...

I wonder if I should clean my glasses more often?
