2014/15

Very pleased with my first season in the Primera Liga.

Odds of 2000-1 to take the title seemed a little harsh. I would have though 100000-1 would have been more realistic.

The threatened overhaul didn't really take off as despite making an enormous number of bids all summer only 2 players accepted my terms, mind you The Brazilian DM that I enticed from Ejido turned out to be a right star. His 6 goals and 7 assists proved to be a godsend.

A finish of 15th, 5 points above the drop zone was very satisfactory.

And we were mathematically safe with 3 games to go.

P38 W9 D15 L14 F36 A51 PTS42

Goals were a problem, with top scorer bagging 9!

Mind you he did get 10 in the cup \0/

Cup runners up - now that was a shock.

Nice run to the final including a 3-0 away win against Valencia.

Hopes were high, but Real Madrid hammered us 3-0. No glory but cash aplenty.

I was able to upgrade a lot of contracts and brought in 3 quality players in the transfer window, including a Slovenian AMR,ST from Valladolid for £2.9m

Mind you I think the 23 year old Ecuadorean AM/FC that I stole from Division B4 Getafe for £45k has proved to be the value buy of the season.

On to next year I guess, with a squad that has been strengthened.

A solid start to your Primera Liga Life! Nice work. Now you just need to send a little memo to your scout reminding him to find a wonder striker!

I have one or two coming through my youth system that might fit the bill!

Too early to say for sure though.

Plus I haven't got the funds to sign anyone, as I am Haemorrhaging money faster than an Aussie spreadbetter in Johannesbourg.

It's the wonderful world of Bosmans for me!

We already have the Gregorian Calender. Are you trying to create the Lukewarmian Calender?

Lukewarm, how long is it taking you to play a season? Even if you started this save ages ago, you've playeed an amazing number of seasons. I'd better get moving with my new save, as I have similar ambitions of climbing the ranks in Spain, but I don't think I can match the incredible pace.
