game is not playable for lower rep clubs.

if u start of as unemployd with high rep mayby okie to play a seson.
then wait for the patch
im currently team usa manager and waiting for a championship job in england
i would suggest pick a random team to play with insteed.
are you suggesting that its not possible to have a decent game if you start from the bottom?

SI have a problem then because i dont want to start with a random club i want to work my way up in realistic fashion. </BLOCKQUOTE>

garry nope. u cant start at low rep clubs of many resons. for example the finances doesnt work and if u exeed your board expectations u get fired and so on.jimbokav have made very long and informative posts if u wanna read about it more.
also consider if u start as a small club u can never have more staff employd then when u take job at club.example some clubs conference clubs cant have more then 1-2 scouts even if they play in premiership and so on.same goes for coaches and psysios.

game atm is only playable with liverpool, arsenal and so on.fotball manager 08 include alot of other teams/leauges but they are not playable at all due to many resons.

Well that dispells the problems of not being able to get better jobs in 07, lets hope its the same in 08. Good job btw  sounds like a cracking game. </BLOCKQUOTE>

IMO it was a myth, as in my long-term career game, I got the following jobs (excluding offers I refused)

started in Bulgaria @ Botev Plovdiv
moved to Sparta Prague
moved to Spartak Moscow
moved to Helsingborgs
moved to Napoli
moved to Bayern

all in around 25 seasons...

Why?

As some posters already posted here, they got a job after starting unemployed. So why the need for the full patch? </BLOCKQUOTE>

I got a job in March of the first season with Hucknall Town without a patch. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I got a job at Vfb Lubeck in the German Regional Division North within 3 days, without applying, and on automatic reputation. Currently 1st after ten games.

I've been offered jobs at Ecija (Spanish B4), and QUB (N.Ireland 2nd div) when starting unemployed.

The problem is with the finances.

No you shouldnt.

I started unemployed- got the Billericay job, got us to the 2nd Division, then accepted an offer from Orient in Div 1.

That appears to work as it should.
