Hey guys.

I was just accepted as manager of Ghana (only did it so I can play in the 2010 world cup in a couple of months). The only problem is THERE IS NO GHANIAN GOALKEEPER IN THE ENTIRE GAME!!!

Yes thats right. And my assistant recommends I put Essein in goals - the only bloke with a GK rating of 2. NOT HAPPENING!

Anyone know how I can overcome this problem? Or how I can add a player into an existing saved game?

Eep. Good luck; I had similar trouble with Ghana where I had no left backs, but your situation is far worse.

I THINK if you pick 22 out of your 23 players, but no goalie, you should get a greyed out one.

A number of countries suffer from this, mostly African ones.

You could try loading all players and maybe wait a few years.
It may be possible to add a player with FMM.

I was Ghana around that year, is Richard Kingson not there as he's the only goalkeeper I had?

I remember way back when I had CM02 I messed around with the database and added myself into the game. I'm assuming you can still do this. However, the effect was only noticed when a new game was started. Is there anyway to add a player into a current game?

You can use FMM to edit some unknown player's attributes and nationality and then call him up.

I have the exact same problem in the same year as Ivory Coast Manager. MY first game was a friendly against Ghana and I had three fake (grey) goal keepers to choose from.

Then I chose my next squad, filled it up and I forgot to put any goalkeepers in the team but when I checked back there was none to select. I had two games with Drogba in goal and then was able to select my next squad again. I picked the minimum number required but was not given any further goalkeepers so I played Drogba in goal yet again.

I just used FM editor to create a GK. however I was affraid if i saved it over the default database it might fark up my game and I'll be back to the start.

Tears, so you didn't consistently have greyed out GK's when you seleceted a minimum amount of players?

Prob won't help but have ya looked for any mixed nationality keepers where Ghana is 2nd Nationality? Not sure how ya do it or if it'll help
