Could anyone please explain how this works as I've never actually tried it and I've (shameful as it may be) never actually tried it.

Is it best to go on holiday? How long for if so? Does the game pause the holiday and ask for a decision should a job offer come in?

Any explanations would be received very gratefully. Thanks in advance.

you could go on holiday and choose:
"apply for job at higher rep club"
"return from holiday on job offer"

this i think could apply for all jobs going and stop holiday when your offed the job

Thats correct, Sir! The only problem is if you get a rubbish offer and go on holiday again straight away, the same team often offers you the job again!

But if start a new game as an unknowm manager you're not going to get offers from Liverpool straight away so you can only expect much smaller teams to ask you.

I could be wrong, has anyone had a significant job offer when starting unemployed?
